Project Description
SharpFreeChart is a .NET porting of JFreeChart Library.
It's completely written in C#, will work on Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or later and Mono, on 32bit and 64bit systems in both WinForms and ASP.NET applications.

What

SharpFreeChart is a .NET porting of JFreeChart Library.
It's completely written in C#, will work on Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or later and Mono, on 32bit and 64bit systems in both WinForms and ASP.NET applications.

Why

Because there isn't a free and complete chart library for .NET.
Most of the online resources are only examples, most of the libraries are closed source and expensive.
The new http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=130F7986-BF49-4FE5-9CA8-910AE6EA442C&displaylang=en Microsoft Chart Controls are supported only by .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 even if they seems to work also on .NEt Framework 2.0
The existing http://www.ujihara.jp/jbyjsharp/jfreechart/ JFreeChart.NET is a great job and it's fully working but it use J#, some assembly is not 64bit compliant and it doesn't work on Mono.
JFreeChart offers a complete suite of charts so a .NET porting will provide a useful library for both WinForms and ASP.NET applications.

Who

Anyone who want to contribute can be of help. Please contact me.

When

The library is in pre-pre-pre-alfa. There's not a working assembly but only some Java conversion.
